Maria Christina Sales Brady says:
i am here now in US and married to a USC, i have a pending AOS right now and i have a K2 to follow next year. My concern is that, is it ok if i dont go there in PH to be with my son’s K2 interview, can my mother accompany my son on the embassy?, and what are the documents needed for his K2 interview, i am annulled in the PH. hope you give me information about these matter. thank u so much…
If the principal applicant is unable to be with the applicant during the interview, he can be assured that his absence, in and of itself, will not affect the case. Majority of our visa applicants successfully undergo the interview without their principal applicants present.
The applicants’ adult representative should visit this website: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph to schedule a visa interview appointment.
Please note that K2 applicant must pay the visa application fee of $350 (per applicant), before they can request a visa appointment via the online appointment website or the Embassy’s Visa Call Center. For K1/K2 visa payment instructions, the applicant may visit a link to our website at http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html
The applicants’ guardian should follow all interview preparation instructions for K1/K2 visa applicants located on the Embassy’s website at http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html
Please be aware that under U.S. immigration law and regulation, issuance of a fiancé(e) derivative (K2) visa must follow within one year from the date the fiancé(e) visa (K1) was issued to the principal applicant.

and this is the e-mail to me by the US Embassy Philippines:
When the applicant is ready to apply for his K2 visa, his adult representative should visit this website: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph, or contact the Embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 982-5555 or (632) 902-8930 to schedule a visa interview date. The Visa Information and Appointment Service is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Callers in the USA may contact the Appointment Service at (214) 571-1600 between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Callers should have the applicant’s case number, passport number, and passport expiry date ready when requesting a visa appointment.
Please note that K2 applicants must pay the visa application fee of $350, before they can request a visa appointment via the online appointment website or the Embassy’s Visa Call Center. For K2 visa payment instructions, you may visit a link to our website at http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html.
The applicant’s guardian should follow all interview preparation instructions for K2 visa applicants located on the Embassy’s website at http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html. The instructions contained on the website will provide the required documentation and procedures to follow prior to the interview date.
The applicant’s guardian should compile all the required documents and complete the medical examination before the interview date (when scheduled). He/She should bring an authorization letter and a clear copy of your valid ID bearing your signature, along with his/her own valid IDs to accompany the applicant to his medical examination and visa interview.
Please be aware that because you were issued a fiancee (K1) nonimmigrant visa on June 00, 2011, ----- must apply and be eligible for issuance of a K2 visa before June 00, 2012.
Additionally, kindly note that the K1 visa is valid only for single-entry. Prior to departing the United States, you must notify the nearest U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office which has jurisdiction over your residence. You may also wish to contact the USCIS National Customer Service Center toll-free at 1-800-375-5283 regarding this matter.
We hope this information is helpful to you.
